It’s an interesting climate that we live in these days, where “alternative facts” seem to rule over all else. Where does this come from? One would think that scientific evidence is all a person would need to understand real truths. The situation can be a bit more complex than that, as many people selectively choose arguments in favor of their own — something we call confirmation bias.
